Richard
M. Stern (rms@bonerstern.com)
is a native of southern California. He is a Shareholder in the law firm of Boner
Stern & Sipple, and has been practicing in the areas of business law, estate
planning, civil litigation, gaming, and entertainment law in San Diego,
California, for the past 24 years. He is a member of the American, California,
and San Diego County Bar Associations.
Mr. Stern
graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in psychology in 1976
and earned his Juris Doctor in 1979 from the California Western School of Law in
San Diego.
An active
community member who is passionate about volunteer work, Mr. Stern has served
many years on the Board for an inner-city YMCA. He has also served as Chairman
of the San Diego Lawyer Referral and Information Service, as well as the Public
Information and Relations Committee and the Membership Committee of the San
Diego County Bar Association. Mr. Stern has served as Chair of the State Bar of
California's Local Professionalism and Public Action (LOPAPA) Committee.
Mr. Stern also
sits as an Arbitrator for the San Diego County Bar Association and has served as
a Probation Monitor for the State Bar of California, Office of Trials.
